This is my first design that I did by hand. This also will be my 1st release. First 30 persons to get the shirt will also get to have a genuine CD sampler from EMEBRCORE and (hopefully,still proposing frm the band) signed posters. Get it also at www.facebook.com/thinkinkclothing

 

This is my version of "Hear them, Wear them" series. I plan to feature one band every month.

EMBERCORE: The band was formed sometime in April 2007. At the time, the five were involved with other groups, and were together simply to play music that sounds different from their respective bands’ sounds. As they played more gigs and found their chemistry as a band, they decided to focus more on this band and that what makes Embercore up to now.


The very 1st print I made for my line with an old buddy Stephan -- straight from my backyard (with all those ants, worms, alien-like-insects and garden bugs)! I just never really thought how printing a 5-color design be so much a pain!

At the end of the day, all is well. It turned out not close to what I thought it would but, yeah, 1st print, 1st run, 1st reject.

It was a nice day.

Perlas De Oriente

New York Elites

A design made for my teammates in Expedia as a request by Alfie, our supervisor.

The team name is New York Elites, long before I even existed in the company and the small team is quite a character from my perspective's end. Its a long running rated number one for a few consecutive times. Its a tall tale which made me think its domination all above the others.

People from this circle are composed of mostly competitive people and seeing being number two as being last. Its hard to keep pace from these guys at times but its a ride that I really had to take.

I award the word "dominate" t these guys. Cheers!

Here Comes The Pain

I remembered watching the movies that are themed from the 70's era. I remember bell bottoms, woodstock, LSDs and this. When I see bats with nails nad fences wrapped around 'em,i would usually associate it with black leather jackets, skinny tattered jeans, chains, motorcycles and mohawks. I see this as the era of punk rock. --atleast for me (though I was born in the later 80's)

Anyway, this is my new design for my "coming soon" collection

Christine Eslabon, my ex-supervisor from Expedia asked me to make a design for her team. I made a classic character to represent them. Im not quiet sure about the colors though so I made 3 to give them a couple of options.

This design is a classic style combined with a twist of cartoony touch. This character holds a remote to maneuver his paper plane. This is how I see control.
